Throughout
my 30 plus year career in photography I have had
the privilege to work with some of the finest masters
in the business. Len Ownes, who I credit on my studio
info page, taught me the gritty side of the news business.
Ken Hackman, a master of military photojournalism
taught me to see light, to anticipate action, and
above all to never take no as the final answer.
Don Sutherland, a fellow military photojournalist, had
the most profound impact on my photo and personal life.
His brilliant ability to grasp just about everything
he came in contact with helped me draw from within to
be my best. Larry Amato, a grand master photographer
in my book, spent 3 years quietly yelling at me to slow
down and take in the scene in front of my lens. His
patience paid off in what I have become today.
Finally, there is Peggy McAteer, a truly gifted Master Photographer and
craftsman who has inspired me to reach ever higher heights.
She is simply one of the very best wedding and portrait
photographers out there today. One of the top 10 in Florida!
I have been richly rewarded through her garcious giving of time,
friendship, and concern....
